Mike has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 2006 and is currently our Kennel Manager. Mike makes sure that every dog is happy and full of treats. He also ensures that the kennels are spotless and things are running smoothly at the Ranch. Having cared for many family and neighbor dogs and cats throughout the years, Mike is a natural caretaker. During his breaks, he can often be found with a smile on his face playing fetch with Shamrock Ranch’s canine visitors.
Lisa has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 1992 as our Training Director. She leads a world class behavior modification program and has transformed countless dogs into model canine citizens. Lisa’s love for animals has been with her since childhood. By the age of five, she knew that animals would be an integral part of her life. Lisa has trained horses, dogs and exotic animals, and her own dogs have competed in obedience, schutzhund, herding, agility, and conformation. Currently she lives with eight dogs and one cat. She feels deep gratitude for being able to do her heart’s work to help facilitate better relationships between people and their dogs. Her favorite pastime is hiking with her canine companions.
Zoe has worked at Shamrock Ranch since he was a little boy, plowing the fields in the days when the ranch was an organic farm. He’s the son of the owner, and assists in the smooth operations of Shamrock Ranch. Zoe’s constant companion is his border collie, Penny who is never far from his side. Working alongside Zoe with her ever-present ball, Penny makes sure that there is always a throwing arm nearby.
Since she was a little girl, Serena has worked at Shamrock Ranch. Her beginnings at the Ranch include selling produce at the farm stand. She is now Shamrock Ranch’s General Manager. She lives with her four dogs: Austin and Leela, Australian Shepherds born at Shamrock Ranch, Stinky Fishy Fisher a Schipperke, and Jada Bean a newfy mix.
Dana Denman Voskes
Dana Denman Voskes is the owner of Shamrock Ranch. She was born in San Francisco and raised at the Ranch. Since 1979, she’s successfully juggled all of the balls that make the Ranch run smoothly. Despite surrounding development, Dana has always been devoted to the property. As a result, it remains pristine in its natural beauty with wide open spaces for all clients to enjoy. In her early years, Dana was an avid equestrian. She is now the proud mother of her children John, Arianna, Zoe, and Serena, as well as a French Bulldog named Leroy whose stubborn demeanor keeps her in check.
Kevin has been working the front desk at Shamrock Ranch since 2012. He’s a technological genius who keeps us current with the times. If he had his way, we’d be further ahead. Thanks to Kevin’s keen eye on technological improvement, we’re working on it!
Jeff keeps our canine visitors happy and fed every evening. He’s known around Shamrock Ranch as someone who gets stuff done. He pays close attention to detail and is never afraid of hard work. Jeff often works late to make sure that everything is in good order for the morning crew. Jeff has two Australian Shepherds, Sophie and Sammy who often come by the ranch to play super fetch in the play fields.

Joyful Jean has been loving on the dogs at Shamrock Ranch since 2013. From the moment she started at Shamrock Ranch, it was apparent that Jean needed to be in the trenches with the dogs, providing them with her loving hands-on care. Jean is a deeply caring woman. The well-being of every dog is her first priority. She is the mother to Gracia (a pit-weenie) and Pumpkin (a chorgi), who are her best friends, co-pilots, and steady companions.
Linda has been at Shamrock Ranch since 2008 and is currently one of our fabulous groomers. For the past 35 years, grooming has been Linda’s professional calling. For five of those years, she owned her own groom shop. Linda’s compassionate approach to grooming is all about discovering the most comfortable posture for your dog so that they are calm and relaxed during their spa treatment. Linda can often be found dispensing cookies around the Ranch to all of the dogs who work here. Needless to say, she’s a popular addition to Shamrock Ranch.
Pusseidon keeps an eye on the front desk. He spends most of his day sleeping or greeting customers (or ignoring them in standard cat fashion). Pusseidon lives up to his name, as he drools profusely when he’s happy. He enjoys sunbathing in the morning, and he’ll even occasionally signal passersby for a much-needed belly rub. He’s also very photogenic.
