Dana
(Owner)
Born in San Francisco and raised at Shamrock Ranch, Dana has handled operations at the ranch since 1979. Despite surrounding development, Dana remains devoted to keeping the ranch, its natural beauty and its wide open spaces in tact. In her early years, Dana was an avid equestrian. She’s the proud mother of her children Arianna, John, Serena and Zoe, as well as a French Bulldog named Rosie.
Mike
(Kennel Manager)
Mike has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 2006 and currently runs the kennels. He makes sure every dog remains happy and full of treats, while also ensuring that the kennels stay clean and that the ranch operates smoothly. Having cared for many family and neighbor dogs (and cats) over the years, Mike is a natural caretaker.
Lisa
(Training Director)
Lisa has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 1992 as our Training Director. She leads a world-class in-kennel training program and has transformed countless dogs into model canine citizens. Lisa’s loved animals since her childhood. By the age of five, she knew that animals would play an integral role in her life. Lisa has trained horses, dogs and exotic animals, and her own dogs have competed in obedience, Shutzhund, herding, agility and conformation. She currently lives with eight dogs and one cat. She loves helping to facilitate better relationships between people and their dogs. She considers hiking with her canine companions her favorite pastime.
Kevin
(Office Manager)
Kevin has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 2012. You’ll often find him helping customers but Kevin also handles various back office duties while also making improvements (usually technological in nature) behind the scenes when possible. He also manages our Web site.
Jean
(Lead Dog Walker)
Jean has worked at Shamrock Ranch since 2013. From the moment she started working at the ranch, Jean made it clear that she needed to spend a lot of time in the trenches with the dogs. She provides our canine visitors with plenty of loving, hands-on care. She’s the mother of Gracia (a Pit-Weenie) and Pumpkin (a Chorgi), her two best friends, co-pilots and steady companions.
